This version of the Zephyr is made from polycarbonate plastic.
This Zephyr is made from polycarbonate (PC) plastic, to give a different feel to a fantastic throw. The size and side face with its fingerspin spot have been preserved, letting you play and compare the feeling that comes with a change in body material. The Boreas II, Notus, Eurus, and Zephyr all were designed to show how the profile of the yo-yo affects playfeel, and now these polycarbonate versions give you another dimension of yo-yo design to appreciate.
Compared to the POM plastic of the original, the PC version feels lighter and has a speedier playfeel, despite being the same weight as its big brother. It still has the same blast coating-like finish, so you won't miss out on any grind tricks.
The original Zephyr, with its straight body shape had a sharp, pointed playfeel. The new PC version offers the same feeling, just a little further shaved down.
