A playfeel with a calculated margin, born from the marriage of titanium and side effects

This is a collaboration model between yoyofriends and American yo-yo designer, Damian Puckett. Born from a long-standing relationship between the two, this model features a body made of titanium and utilizes the One Drop Side Effect system for the axle assembly.

The most defining feature of this model lies in the "golden ratio of spin power and feel" arrived at by the designer, Damian. From his past experience with titanium and bimetal models, Damian felt that pursuing rotational performance and stability by shifting too much weight to the rims; although this does have its intended affect on performance, it often led to a monotonous play feel, detracting from the fun. Therefore, the Alliance adopts a design that intentionally avoids pushing the rim weight distribution to the limit, leaving a moderate "margin" in which a distinctive playfeel can flourish. This achieves a balance where the extended spin characteristic of titanium coexists with the nimbleness to move exactly as the player intends, and the pure comfort of controlling the yo-yo.

The shape is finished with an exquisite size balance that is neither too large nor too small, notable for how well it fits in the hand the moment you pick it up. The comfortable profile, based on a round shape, ensures no stress even during long play sessions. Furthermore, the ability to fine-tune weight and center of gravity balance by swapping Side Effects allows players to pursue their preferred feeling, enhancing its appeal as a high-end model to be enjoyed for years to come.

This is a model that strongly reflects a design philosophy of valuing not just the pursuit of raw performance, but also the "joy of throwing" and the "unique character" inherent to the yo-yo.
