Amongst 2010's lineup, the new Viper retains its place as the Henrys representative model, with some additional upgrades. Those familiar with the old Viper will be both nostalgiac and pleased with the changes. The aluminum hub and rubber ring construction remain the same, but the gap has widened, the edge has been lowered, and the response system now employs the silicone Gecko Pads. As opposed to the off string-only image of the original Viper AXYS, the Viper Neo can also be used effectively as a 1A model.
With a weak tug-response, the Viper Neo is smooth, good for laceration-type tricks. By degreasing the bearing, you can make it completely bind-responsive.
If you switch to the 4mm bearing (sold separately), the narrow gap will produce a stronger response better for Over The Fence and Reach For The Moon style tricks. We suggest degreasing the 4mm bearing to reduce accidental biting.
