TurnTable 2.0
YoYoFactory - TurnTable 2.0
An amazing prototype that never got a proper release is now getting the full treatment... with a bimetal upgrade!
The interesting-looking TurnTable first made an appearance at the 2015 World Yo-Yo Contest in Tokyo as a prototype, as a very limited test-release. However, though the protos were snapped up, it never saw a proper release and faded from memory. Now, three years later, the tables have turned, and the TurnTable has resurfaced as a proper bimetal throw!
The signature design of the original was undoubtedly the "quatro rim" side face, looking like the ripples in the water. Now, the outermost rim is sheathed in a smooth rounded steel inner rim that proudly stands out from the rest of the design. Light but with an impressive sleep, the new TurnTable is a definite improvement over the prototype version. The inner profile shape is almost identical to the original, with the same smooth feeling and sense of string control. The result is a definite power-up from the "1.0" version.
Also designed to support fingerspin tricks, the innermost rim surrounds a scoop that centers itself on your nail. You might expect from the look of it that your finger would get caught up on all those rim walls, but actually regardless of where you hit it, the TurnTable slides smoothly into place. This unique and beautiful throw will serve just about any play style you wish to try!
*Comes with a carrying case designed to hold two yo-yos, and a tube of Dark Matter lube.
