With just a twist of the sides you can adjust the gap width for more or less response (cannot be used with shims). The small bearing and o-ring are a peculiar combination but have received a lot of support from players the world over. Although a lot of friction is made during looping play, the o-rings are extremely durable and almost require no replacement. Since the only necessary maintainence is replacing strings, it's also a great model for beginners and newcomers to 2A. The plastic caps cover thick printed paper which can be switched out for your own original designs.
