Speedaholic XX (Old)
C3yoyodesign - Speedaholic XX
C3's standard plastic model gets upgraded to a bind-response version.
This is the old model. Here is the new model.
This version of the Speedaholic is set to bind-response. But aside from the concept of a full plastic, wide-bodied string trick yo-yo, it has evolved into a completely different beast. The new Speedaholic has borried the deep H-profile from the Atomic Crash, keeping the string away from the spinning yo-yo body, minimizing sleep loss. The Speedaholic gets its power from the thick plastic rims, delivering an excellent cost-performance design.
The body is machined from a solid block of polycarbonate, and it has a very nice smooth texture that feels good in the hand and during play, while also proving to be more durable than an injection-molded plastic body. The Speedaholic isn't just meant for 1A, but is equally excellent for all string trick styles. Even Counterweight (5A) play, where it's common to drop the yo-yo, is no problem for the tough new Speedaholic XX.
Of course, some extra perks have been worked into the design, allowing you to try fingerspin tricks. The indentation makes the yo-yo feel like it immediately centers over the axle, making fingerspins a real "no-brainer" trick.
