Shyness
W1LD - Shyness
Bimetal performance with monometal unity.
This model debuts as the monometal version of W1LD's bimetal "Shy," reconstructing the design philosophy cultivated in Shy's bimetal form with a single material construction.
The specifications closely follow those of the Shy, with its wide body and powerful spin retained in this monometal iteration. The weight is set slightly lighter compared to its older brother. This weight combined with the unity characteristic of monometal forms the foundation for excellent responsiveness in startup and stopping.
The wide width allows the body to firmly catch the string, enabling confident play even with large-motion mounts and rail-based tricks. As for spin power, it secures sufficient strength for a monometal, capable of handling longer combos.
For bind beginners, the approachability of monometal aids in skill development. Not possessing the extreme power of bimetal makes it suitable for refining fundamental control techniques, while for advanced players, it enables the pursuit of sharp play styles that leverage its unity.
Designed with understanding of the respective strengths of both bimetal and monometal, this model is an attractive yo-yo both as a sibling to the Shy and as an independent model in its own right.
