Shutter Evo (with Adjustment Tools)

YoYoFactory - Shutter Evo

Bi-metal model with wide stainless steel outer rims on the shutter.

This is the signature model of Gentry Stein, the 2014 and 2019 World Champion in the 1A division. There have been more than 10 versions of his signature models and this bi-metal model is based on his most popular work, the Shutter. The new model has a larger and wider outer rim that weighs a whopping 40g alone. It has a deeper tread than the Shutter and is also 1mm wider at over 57mm.

Their total weight is about the same at around 65g, but while the Shutter Bi-Metal is rather light and smooth, the stainless steel rim accounts for more than 60% of the total weight of the new Shutter Evo, giving it a more "heavy" feel. Even the outer rims have different characteristics.

If you feel any vibration, you can adjust the rims with the tool provided.
Disassemble the yo-yo and reassemble it with the longer tool in between as you see above. Tighten the tool firmly to adjust the position of the rim and reduce vibration.

*The yo-yo is prone to vibration due to its design specifications and may shake a lot when new. Although the included adjustment tool can improve this situation, we do not guarantee that the vibration will be completely eliminated. Please purchase with this in mind.
