Boasting more power under then hood than it appears to have, Shelter is Aufheben's second release.
This is the second yo-yo from maker Aufheben. It's roughly the same size as their first release, Eureka, but the shape and material is slightly different, creating a very different playing experience.
The body is made from 6061 aluminum, a standard option for metal yo-yos, and gives the Shelter a smooth, familiar texture. The really surprising aspect of this yo-yo is its sense of weight; although there's only a 1 gram difference between the Shelter and the Eureka, Shelter seems to have hidden some turbo boosters in its design. The sense of power will surprise you!
They kept the tight-spinning sense of power, with a steady sense of balance that seems to auto-correct any wobbles for you, giving Shelter a very pleasing and reliable playfeel that reflects a different appeal from the Eureka.
Shelter uses the hkmt equipment "grip-c" response pads, for excellent performance right out of the package.
