The Sceptre, like C3's Halo, is machined from delrin, for a full-plastic feeling that is smooth and flighty, with a black body and anodized hubs for your color options. Yet, the Sceptre has a special feature unlike the Halo, called "Duplex."
Duplex is a new special bearing system that combines the entire response system into a removable, reversible disc that lets you switch from the standard C-size bearing to a smaller A-size bearing. The C-size bearings are big and great for speed play, but flip the Duplex system over and the A-size bearing gives you a noticeably stronger spin. It's not about which one is best, but the Duplex gives you the opportunity to enjoy both. Find out which one you prefer, and keep on spinning!
The body shape is step-round, between fully straight and fully rounded. It has a pleasant stability that will have you questioning whether this is really a plastic yo-yo. C3 spared no expense at making a spectacular throw.
A-size(Duncan size) bearings are sold separately. For the C-size bearings, we recommend C3's geniune C3 Silicone Pads, and for A-size play, we also have genuine C3 Small Silicone Pads.
