Remate is the third signature yo-yo for Hideo Ishida, Kyushu's representative 5A player. The Checkmate has gotten a large upgrade, with a logo redesign to match. The main difference is that the Remate is much larger than its predecessor. Its width is the same as before, but its diameter is greatly increased, giving it a very fast spin. The Remate also uses yoyo monster's "mix straight" shape, where the longest straight portion of the design has become inverse round, for even less friction and longer, more stable combos. Of course, it's also well suited for Ishida's signature horizontal trick style.
Although it's a remodel, the Remate's different size and logo make it a completely different throw specially designed for one player's specific needs, but it should feel at home in your hands as well.
