Raider (Old)
Yomega - Raider (Old)
The one thing every looping player has in common is that they all have a Raider in their collection. The Yomega Raider is the king of looping!
In the Hyper Yo-Yo Boom of 1997~1999, this yo-yo was sold under the name "Hyper Raider." It's still available as the Yomega Raider, and aside from the cap design, is unchanged from the popular Hyper Raider. The standard shape, Yomega size ball bearing and starburst response system make a combination that is already proven in the yo-yo world.
For maintenance, looping oil (sold separately, see right panel) is a necessity. Also, this yo-yo eats through string, so be sure to have some fresh string on hand. More advanced players will be interested in the nylon spacer, which they can sand down to personalize their Raider's settings. Even unmodified, this yo-yo has plenty of potential that will make it a favorite for beginners all the way to professionals.
