CLYW's first yo-yo, the Peak is now available in plastic, in collaboration with Luftverk.
The large body with a larger diameter and width provides plenty of spinning power, and the yo-yo feels lighter than its 66g weight. Its high edges also give the Peak a very controllable and pleasing yo-yo movement.
It was extremely difficult to incorporate the original Peak design into plastic, but they were able to recreate the iconic feel by paying close attention to every detail.
The hub in the center of the face is designed to bring the impression closer with shadows, as it is difficult to make it taller in plastic. The packaging is also a throwback to the original peak package. In addition to this there are many other ingenious touches that show respect for the original.
This is a work of the utmost effort that successfully responded to the difficult task of recreating a legend and giving meaning to the modern remake with different materials.
