Cheatcode, a model for finger spin and DNA, is now available in plastic.
The Cheatcode, which was created as "a yo-yo to make learning DNA as easy as possible," is now available in full plastic. To accommodate tricks from first-time yo-yos to intermediate and higher levels, the initial state is tug-response, and will come back easily. By replacing the bearing with the included size C bearing, it can be upgraded to a bind response setting.
The finger spin cups shapes are inherited from the metal Cheatcode. If you can get your fingers in the holes and assume the correct posture, it is quite easy to capture the center and stabilize the yo-yo's position. You can learn the DNA first with the tug response setting, and then try your hand at binding with the same yo-yo.
The weight of 69g is a little heavy for beginners, but the yoyo spins well under its own weight with just a light throw.
The width of over 50mm makes it easy to land the yoyo on the string, increasing the success rate of tricks. The power from its weight allows the yoyo to spin for longer even when performing tricks slowly, so you can work on your tricks without stress.
