The Peak gets an update for its tenth birthday!
It's already been ten years since CLYW released their first yo-yo, the Peak. Made specifically for the contest scene, Peak was the first of many game-changing yo-yos. It wouldn't be too much to saw that CLYW made itself a major name in the yo-yo world, and helped shaped the evolution of spin-tops. Now, to celebrate its birthday, CLYW is releasing an update to the Peak.
The size hasn't changed much, but the body is 2 grams lighter than the original. The biggest change to the design is the new low edge on the response area, which look like they take after the Wooly Marmot 1 and 2, but the edge has a slight bump to it, giving a feeling of a higher edge, but still reducing sleep loss. This preserves some of the playfeel of the original Peak.
With its great feeling and high potential for the contest stage, the Peak 2 lives up to its namesake.
