An Inner Rim Bimetal Model with the Same Shape as Obtuse.
This is an inner rim bimetal model that shares the same shape as Japan Technology's full size outer rim model, Obtuse. In the process of converting to an inner rim, the size and weight have been optimized for the new design. There's an increased sense of stability on the string, giving the impression of improved controllability.
From the manufacturer
This is JT's first bimetal model featuring an inner rim. We've adopted the shape of the outer rim bimetal model "OBTUSE" and fine-tuned the specifications to be smaller, wider, and heavier to suit the inner rim design. OBSCURE gives a sense of presence and reassurance to each movement, making it a very effective yo-yo for scenes involving continuous tricks such as freestyle, and for developing movements while maintaining rhythm.
