An incredibly simple yo-yo that manages to be anything but normal.
RecRev is run by Alex Kim, a member of the talented LA-based Team DXL. His yo-yo, the No.9 has a very simple and straightforward design, but quietly shows its strength when it's let out the gates.
Its design inspiration is clear. An H-profile with a gap slightly narrower than a SuperStar, yoyorecreation Sleipnir-style flat sides, and a glamorous feeling when you hold it in your hand. At 69.1g, it throws a lot of weight around, but its relatively small body translates to a ridiculously long sleep. Unlike other H-profile yo-yos where your middle finger sinks into the gap, the No.9 rests in the entire palm of your hand, giving you a better sense of torque as you throw the yo-yo.
The engraved design changes with the color: Blue and Green just has the name printed on it, Pink and Hot Pink have a houndstooth pattern, and Red features a paisley design. Black is the DXL edition, and has different text on each side (see photos).
This yo-yo doesn't come with string, so have your favorite string ready for action!
This yo-yo is compatible with K-pad Large Slim size response pads. There will be a slight gap around the outside edge of the pad, but this will not affect its functionality.
