Night Moves is the signature yo-yo series of YoYoJam owner Dave Bell, and it's been three years since the Night Moves 5 was released. This new yo-yo, the Night Moves 6 is now the signature model for REWIND manager and Team YoYoJam member, Jun Aramaki, who has been throwing Night Moves since the first one was released in 2002.
The Night Moves 6 is unusual, partly thanks to its design which was influenced by former YoYoJam team member and owner of YoYoJoker, Daisuke Shimada. Using the aluminum body and brass weight ring of the Night Moves 5 as a base, the weight and size have been greatly increased. Jun designed the yo-yo with 3A (two-hand string trick) play in mind, with emphasis on smoothness, stability, power and ease of control. With all the pepper on this spicy yo-yo, this well-polished throw is, at its heart, a collaboration yo-yo.
Although it was designed with 3A in mind, Jun also loves it for 1A and 5A, and he's sure you will too. The first run has a nickel coating on the aluminum body and a 24k gold plating on the brass rim. Only 15 were made, and are available only from REWIND. The future runs might use a different manufacturing process.
