A new 2010 mdoel for beginners, MonsterShell is a Japan-only version of Yomega's Allstar, rebranded for Bandai's Hyper Yo-Yo series. The fixed gap gives it a strong return response, and is good for forward pass and breakaways. No maintenance is necessary other than replacing strings. It comes with red string from the maker. The body is fixed and cannot be disassembled. It has a traditional rounded shape that will work well for youngsters.
A good yo-yo for first timers, it has all the abilities necessary to build a strong foundation. It comes with a user's manual with instructions for basic care and tricks.
