The 2004-05 national champion in the 5A division, Hiroyasu Ishihara's model "MIID-Y" is now available in a bimetal flavor.
The wide monometal model MIID-Y, developed based on the Turning Point 2 has been bimetallicized under the supervision of 2004-05 5A National Champion, Hiroyasu Ishihara.
It seems similar to the "Counter Jet" in that it has changed from the "Turning Point 2," but it is actually a small yo-yo with a very heavy feel, completely different from either the MIID-Y or the Counter Jet.
The actual weight is 66g, which is almost the same as MIID-Y together with its diameter and width, and is certainly heavier for a bimetal. The rim itself is also designed to be large and heavy for this size, making it resistant to wobbling despite its small size.
Because of its unique balance, this is a very signature model concept that sticks strongly with those who recognize its charm.
