C3yoyodesign - Mega Crash
Made for top performance, Mega Crash is a Mega sized metal-rimmed yo-yo!
This yo-yo is so large it spills from your hand. Originally designed as a special performance yo-yo for "Let's Yo!" a team based out of Hong Kong, Mega Crash is based on the design of the Gamma Crash. With an added 2~3cm of diameter compared to an average throw, Mega Crash absolutely dwarfs normal yo-yos. The simple but vivid coloring draws the eye from far away, making it a perfect yo-yo for eye-catching and dynamic performances.
Thanks to its enormous size and the stainless steel rim weight, the Mega Crash has an outrageously powerful spin and should be thrown with caution: if thrown with the same kind of power as a normal full-sized yo-yo, you will be startled by how quickly and strong it returns to your hand. A very light throw is all you need for a deep, long sleep.
We recommend pairing this yo-yo with the K-String Tall Fat string to get the most out of this unique design. A longer, thicker string will prove a good choice.
The Solid (opaque) colorways are made of soft-feeling POM plastic. The Clear colorways are made of light, but hard-feeling polycarbonate plastic.

A brief history of the leading up to this yo-yo:
In 2011, C3yoyodesign made the world's largest 1a full metal yo-yo, the H5.
In 2012, we worked with CLYW to create the H5xChief.
In the same year, C3yoyodesign made their first plastic injection yo-yo the Alpha Crash.
Fast forward a few years,
In 2017, C3yoyodesugn arguably reignited the hybrid yo-yo craze with the all new Gamma Crash.
In 2018, we decided to revamp the design of the Gamma Crash into the world's largest hybrid 1a yo-yo, the MEGA CRASH.
Now, for a quick comparison of the specs between the Gamma Crash and Mega Crash:
Gamma Crash:
Weight: 64.7g
Diameter: 57.01mm
Width: 43.10mm
Mega Crash:
Weight 90.45g
Diameter: 80mm
Width: 53.5mm
We have all been working very hard on this yo-yo, trying to reach the huge diameter of 80mm, whilst still trying to maintain a weight of under 100g for ease of control (and your own safety). And by using a hybrid design, we've been able to make the Mega Crash only 90.45g.
Such a large yo-yo guarantees you get all the attention both on and off the stage.
