Small but powerful, the Majiska is a refined full titanium throw with a major power-up!
Brought to you by Turning Point, the titanium signature model of our Shibuya Store manager Shingo "Terry" Terada has been further refined and perfected.
On the underside of the comical naming ("Majiska" sounds like the slang term for "Really!?"), Majiska already had a lot of power packed into its small frame. For this version, Terry said "let's keep the basic shape," but let Turning Point's Kimura-san work his magic and refine the weight distribution to draw out the full potential of the space age metal. It was a tall order to improve on the original, but we're all quite impressed with the result.
The result is a mixed bag of influences, from the Houska, Douska and Bacchus, with the major refinements happening on the side face to increase spin and power. Kimura-san reached into his extensive knowledge and the recent trends in yo-yo design to pack even more power into this small throw, and brought out the highest potential in such a little package. With this update, you can really taste the full advantage of its small design.
The power-up from the original version is big enough that even if you already have the previous version, you may still want to invest in the new Majiska. Maji de! (really!) The Majiska beautifully showcases the refined power and evolution of Turning Point's design philosophy.
