Lemon Honey 2 is the second generation of July YoYo's popular Lemon Honey series, arriving after a lineage of variants and prototypes that ultimately led to a full major update. The result is a bi-material construction pairing an aluminum alloy body with a polycarbonate outer ring.
From the first throw, the crisp and responsive character of the yo-yo is immediately apparent. The aluminum body provides a firm, solid foundation, while the polycarbonate ring around the outer edge brings a measured springiness — the flexible feel of a plastic yo-yo and the rigid precision of metal coexisting in a natural, unified way. The plastic outer layer also serves a practical purpose: it absorbs impact during catches and collisions, reducing strain on the hand during extended play sessions.
