Yonity - Jei

Taiwan's 1A champion player's name graces the Jei, a top-shelf full metal yo-yo with a titanium bearing.

Simple, but with top performance, was the concept behind the Jei (å‚‘), which is not only Chinese for excellence, it's taken from an excellent player's name: 2011 Taiwan 1A champion Hung-Chieh Tseng.

Like the Yonity Dao (Razer), the Jei seems to have a relaxed, simple body design, which hides impressive specs under the hood. Once you throw it you'll notice the superb quality and attention to details. It has the same axle as the Dao, connected to the special bearing for added strength and rigidity, which lends to a really amazing amount of spin.

One thing that wasn't present in the Dao's design is the "bump" around the response area, which succeeds at keeping sleep loss a distant memory. There are lots of full metal yo-yos out there, but the excellent Jei sports a design consideration that will make players everywhere groan with desire.

The Jei uses Yonity's own TraPads for response, see related items.
