According to Werrd, the Irony JP is an upgrade to their previous model with the help of Japanese players, to make the ultimate competition yo-yo. The "JP" in the name stands for "Japan." The previous version was also known as the Irony GBA. On first glance, a major difference is that the sides have been flattened out, and the nubs from the old Irony are gone. This was intended to change the weight distribution with a focus on balance and power, and you can really feel the difference during play. The Irony JP is rock stable, and gives great support for both simple one-shot tricks and long combos.
This version of the Irony JP is made from high-end aircraft aluminum (7075 aluminum), and is loaded with IrPad response pads and a Dif-e-Yo Konkave bearing, to give you the best performance straight out of the box.
*The Orange version a special color for 2014 EYYC 1A champion, Carlos Braun. The rims were given a fine polish, reducing the overall weight to 65.6 grams.
