Galaxy Diver 7075
C3yoyodesign - Galaxy Diver 7075
The body material has been upgraded to 7075 aluminum for a power upgrade!
The original Galaxy Diver was a bimetal variation of the classic Remaster Galaxy. This new version upgrades the main body material to the high end 7075 aluminum alloy. A harder, denser alloy than the standard 6061, this amounts to a subtle but substantial power-up.
The concept was to take the same design and create a completely different yo-yo out of it. To put this in perspective, although the profile hasn't changed at all, the switch to 7075 aluminum increased the body weight 2 whole grams, from 64 to 66 grams. This combines with the stainless steel rim to have a strong effect on the overall performance of the yo-yo, delivering extended sleeps and giving you plenty of spin for working on your long combos.
If you're looking for a yo-yo that feels lighter than it is, but doesn't skimp on power, look no further. Although at 66 grams it's just a hair under the heavyweight category, it still has the bones of a lighter throw. If you're thinking about dipping your toes into the heavier models, this Galaxy Diver will be a great choice for you.
