The Freebird is reborn as a metal yo-yo.
The Freebird, the signature model of 2011-2013 3A World Champion Hank Freeman, has been reissued as a metal yo-yo. It used to be made of POM, but now it is made of aluminum alloy. The diameter is slightly smaller, and the shape has more steps to soften the feel of string hits.
Of particular importance is the height of the edge. Compared to the previous version, it has a much lower edge. The effect of the metal body and low edge is intense, and the stability against combos has been greatly increased. The difference in dimensions is only a few millimeters, but the more you actually use it, the more you will realize the obvious difference.
