Evan Nagao's new signature bimetal throw is even wider and more aggressive in style,.
This is the third version of the Edge, the signature model and design work of Evan Nagao, the 2018 World 1A Division Champion.
The weight remains almost the same, but the overall width has been widened by 1.5mm to a whopping 48mm, making it a super wide yo-yo. The width of the stainless steel rim is also widened accordingly to accomodate the new weight distribution. In other words, the weight of the stainless steel rim accounts for a larger proportion of the total weight than the lightweight A6061 aluminum alloy body, and one might expect this to result in a loss of power. Rather, the rims are so effective that more than enough power can be felt, and even in light of the greater ratio of steel to aluminum, the presence in your hand during play has increased greatly.
Thanks to the wide body, the power and ease of mounting required for an Edge that "can be swung with all your might and returned with confidence at the end" are simply upgraded in this masterpiece.
