Draco
W1LD - Draco
A bimetal model born to mark W1LD's third anniversary with a polycarbonate body and stainless steel rims.
This is a bimetal model created to celebrate W1LD's third anniversary. The body is made from polycarbonate and paired with stainless steel rims, forming a bimetal structure that brings together two distinct materials.
The design was created by Cici, who worked as a designer at God-Tricks, a brand where W1LD owner Chen Yang was also a member. Even after God-Tricks ceased operations, the design philosophy it stood for has been carried forward, and that spirit lives on in the Draco. As far back as 2018, both Cici and Chen Yang believed that a polycarbonate body with stainless steel rims held more potential than a standard bimetal design — but the manufacturing technology of the time couldn't bring that vision to life.
In 2026, with the help of modern manufacturing, that long-held idea has finally been realized in the Draco.
The stainless steel rims concentrate weight toward the outer edge of the yo-yo, while the polycarbonate body keeps movement light and responsive. Together, they produce a yo-yo that stays on axis even during fast, energetic play and responds smoothly to the player's control. Seven years in the making, the Draco stands as the fulfillment of a long-held vision and a new chapter for W1LD.
