The concept is the ultimate yo-yo for finger spin and DNA.
Jeffrey of Luftverk and yo-yo influencer Brandon Vu have teamed up to create the next generation of fingerspin-specific models.
With the growing popularity of yo-yos around the world, especially in short videos on social media, the "DNA" trick has gone beyond viral.
Focusing on how easy it is for yo-yo beginners to get to DNA in the shortest possible time, and how anyone can learn to do DNA, this Cheatcode was created as "a yo-yo to make learning DNA as easy as possible, like some kind of "cheat code."
By widening the yo-yo, they made it easier to loop the string over the body for the DNA (aka Tornado Bind), but also made the spots for fingerspins bigger and deeper, making it impossible to miss that fingerspin setup.
This means that as long as the finger hits the side of the yo-yo, it will automatically reach the center spot and the yo-yo will spin on the finger in a stable manner. The center cap is made of POM, a material with a good smooth texture that's perfect for grinds. The yo-yo's rotation is less likely to slow down on the finger due to less friction.
A slight groove on the inside of the cap allows for "thumb grind," in which the yo-yo is rotated on the finger in a vertical position by hooking the finger on the inside lip of the side face.
The wide metal body has enough spinning power, and of course, can handle regular string tricks as well. Those who are trying to bind for the first time can also use it with confidence.
