Butterfly (Easter)

Duncan - Butterfly (Easter)

The original wing-shape yo-yo and the grandfather of string tricks.

The butterfly has a history as long as the Imperial. With the out-wardly curving shape, similar to that of a butterfly extending its wings, this shape has also been known as hand drum shape or V-shape, but the term "butterfly" has taken root for 1A yo-yos, and now everyone knows what you mean when you use it. The shape takes a lot of design inspiration from the Imperial, but with a wider trapeze width to make string tricks easier. Just like the old days, it has a fixed axle, making sleeps incredibly short, but good enough for a simple trick or two. A challenge for beginners and old schoolers alike.
