Full titanium yo-yo collaboration between Luftverk and CLYW.
This full titanium yo-yo is named after the world's most famous mountain range, the Alps. It was developed in collaboration with Luftverk, a full titanium yo-yo brand, and is based on CLYW's flagship model, the Chief.
The biggest obstacle in converting from an aluminum alloy design to titanium is the change in weight balance, but Alpine retains the CLYW playfeel by focusing on the design of the center of the side face, the so-called hub area, and the results are more than apparent in its performance.
In addition to the extended sleep times given by the titanium body, Alpine goes fast and light. By fine-tuning the weight of the rim by only 1g in the final stage, the weight of the yo-yo is now characterized by a light feel, as if the "zing" that is normally transmitted to the fingers at the moment when the string is pulled tight is disconnected from it. Unlike its namesake, Alpine is stress-free and comfortably smooth from start to finish, and finally, with titanium-like torque, it rewinds smoothly even when it's barely spinning.
This is a masterpiece that Luftverk has created without any compromise to both the CLYW and titanium fans alike!
