Act3 (with Shotaro Matsuda Signed Photo Card)
REWIND x SUS YOYO MECHANICS - Act3
The third generation signature model of 3A instructor Shotaro Matsuda, combining competition-ready performance with exceptional 3A usability.
The Act3 is the third generation of the Act series, the signature model of Shotaro Matsuda, REWIND's 3A instructor. While its predecessor, the Act2, was designed to be a polished, well-rounded bimetal model that anyone could enjoy, the Act3 marks a significant shift in direction, built specifically for Matsuda to win at today's competitions.
The yo-yo is set at 45mm wide and 57mm in diameter. The 45mm width strikes an ideal balance, handling both the sweeping, dynamic tricks of modern play with the precise, delicate tricks unique to 3A, where you must catch a single string among a literal nest of strings. The 57mm diameter is a size Matsuda has trusted for years, providing reliable throwability and powerful spin. Beyond simply widening the body, the design also features a weight distribution engineered to withstand the impacts of 3A play and a reinforced center section, delivering the durability needed for extended use.
This is a yo-yo that takes head-on the challenge of surpassing the conventional 3A width range of 40-43mm without sacrificing any of the usability that 3A players depend on. With competitive-level performance and the durability to hold up through daily practice sessions, the Act3 is a bimetal model that any serious 3A player should have on their radar.
